Average xGOT and Total xGOT

Expected Goals on Target

What it means: xGOT measures the quality of shots after they’re on target (includes shot placement and power).

Example: A weak shot from far away might have low xGOT (0.05), while a close-range header might have high xGOT (0.7).

Total xGOT = sum of all xGOT faced.
Average xGOT = Total xGOT divided by number of shots on target.
